This was a commission build for a client who wanted a Tallgeese III colour swapping the white with black.
While the core Tallgeese itself is a fantastic kit, I feel that the things that make it into the TG3 like the Mega Cannon / Shield are not too well implemented in this P-Bandai release. The gun is riddled with seamlines upon seamlines on moving parts, so there’s some modding / masking to be done if you want to clean those up.
I’ve also never been a fan of the Epyon heat rod, the way it’s designed makes it very to break if you’re not careful with it.
Painting
Black – Gaianotes Black (100%). Gaianotes White is added for shading effect.
Blue – Mr Color Blue (80%) + Mr Color Purple (20%). White is added for shading effect, then some clear blue is misted over.
Yellow – Mr Color Orange (100%) base coat, starter white, Mr Color Orange Yellow (70%) + Yellow (30%) is misted over.
Internals – Gaianotes Black base coat then SMS Stainless still misted over
Mega Cannon grey – Mr Color German Grey (100%) base coat, followed by German Grey (70%) + Neutral Grey (30%) for shading.
